Board Member Form
We are always looking for committed digital school parents to join our board. The board plans DPSA activities, discusses state policy issues and informs DPSA parents how to advocate for their school choice. The time commitment for board members is 30-60 minutes a month.
If you’re passionate about digital public education and want to learn more about DPSA board service, please complete the board member interest form. Once you complete the form, we will follow up to tell you more.
Family Spotlight

Meet the Nysta family, Emma, Richie and Eliana. They enjoy digital public school for a variety of reasons. Check out what they like most about attending school online.
Emma 8th grade: “I love how flexible online school is. It works for my family when we are on trips or vacations, we’re still able to attend class and complete our work without falling behind! I also like how involved my teachers are; they’re always helping me achieve my goals and encouraging me to do better.”
Richie 5th grade: “The thing I like about online school is the outings because the activities are fun and I like the food they provide for us. It's always fun to hang out and make new friends. My favorite outing was the cultural outing because we brought different foods from our cultures and got to enjoy trying them.”
Eliana 5th grade: “I like online school because I don’t have to get up early, get dressed, or make sure I look presentable for the public. I can stay in my pajamas, open my computer, and log on to class with my pencil and notebook by my side.”
Save the Date for National School Choice Week
We have an exciting National School Choice Week event planned in 2026! Mark your calendar for Friday, January 30 at the Seattle Museum of Flight. Celebrate your school choice and meet other digital school families at this fun and interactive event. We will share updated information as well as a registration link as the date gets closer.
The Washington Digital Public Schools Alliance is a coalition of Washington families who have joined together to advocate for digital public schools in our state. DPSA parents have worked hard to educate and inform Washington State policymakers about the importance of digital public schools. Your participation makes a real difference to our leaders in Olympia.
