ICYMI: You can still participate in Digital Learning Day advocacy
/Thank you to all the families who attended Digital Learning Day at the Capitol last week. We were excited to gather in-person at the State Capitol in Olympia for the first time since 2019! During the event we:
Honored our legislative champions, Sen. T'wina Nobles and Rep. April Berg
Heard about what's going on in the legislature that impacts our schools
Participated in a fun and educational activity about the election process
If you were unable to attend, you can still do you part!
Do your part to support Digital Learning Day!
If you couldn't attend Digital Learning Day at the Capitol, no problem. Our advocacy for digital public schools continues throughout the year. State policymakers want to hear from you! It takes less than five minutes to share your digital public school story. Visit the Advocacy page on our website to send an email to the State Senator and State Representatives who represent you and tell them why a digital public school is the right fit for your family. Do your part! Your legislators would love hear your family's digital public school story!
2023 Champion for Kids Award recipients Rep. April Berg (l) and Sen. T'wina Nobles (r).
Thanks again to all of you who helped make Digital Learning Day at the Capitol a success! Check out our Facebook and Twitter pages for photos from the event and don't forget to contact your legislators today! We look forward to working with you to advocate for our schools.
Sincerely,
Mark Martinez
President
The Washington Digital Public Schools Alliance is a coalition of Washington families who have joined together to advocate for digital public schools in our state. DPSA parents have worked hard to educate and inform Washington State policymakers about the importance of digital public schools. Your participation makes a real difference to our leaders in Olympia.
