Family Field Trips Recap
Washington Election Update
Results on Election Day in Washington State indicate that Democrats will retain their control of the Governor’s Office and both chambers of the State Legislature in 2025. It is unclear how many seats the Democrats will control in each chamber because, at the writing of this update, races in the 10th, 14th, 15th, and 18th districts are still too close to call. Final votes will be certified on November 26. Click here to view full election results to date.
Spotlight on Excellence: Meet our Military Family of the Month!
Who: November is Military Family Awareness Month. This month, we’re spotlighting Autumn C., a WAVA student whose father serves in the Air Force. See why an online school is the right fit for Autumn.
Why is digital public school a good fit for your family?
“Online school is a great fit for my family because it offers flexibility for schedules and assignments, I get to work at my own pace, and I can get ahead if I know I will be busy! Online school also makes it easy for my family to make plans, like going out when needed."

The Washington Digital Public Schools Alliance is a coalition of Washington families who have joined together to advocate for digital public schools in our state. DPSA parents have worked hard to educate and inform Washington State policymakers about the importance of digital public schools. Your participation makes a real difference to our leaders in Olympia.
