Meet our new board members!

New board members!

We're thrilled to announce two new board members at DPSA! Madalyn Turner and James Perry are both parents at Washington Virtual Academy (WAVA).

Madalyn (left) is a mom of four WAVA students and is excited to help DPSA grow and continue advocating for legislative issues like digital public school funding. She switched to digital school a little less than a year ago and couldn't be happier with the decision.

James (right) has been a WAVA parent for three years, and his child is entering 5th grade. He is passionate about making digital public schools accessible and can't wait to help educate families on the many benefits of learning digitally.

Parent survey

It’s not too late to respond to our parent survey! Please take five minutes to tell us why a digital public school is the right fit for your family. We value your opinion and want to hear your story.  Your responses will help us inform state lawmakers about digital public schools and the families who use them.

This is our last newsletter before summer break. Thank you for all you do and enjoy the summer!

Sincerely,

Mark Martinez
President

The Washington Digital Public Schools Alliance is a coalition of Washington families who have joined together to advocate for digital public schools in our state. DPSA parents have worked hard to educate and inform Washington State policymakers about the importance of digital public schools. Your participation makes a real difference to our leaders in Olympia.
